Mr. Stern's works were often signed for him; however, this particular piece was signed and numbered by the artist himself.

This work has been featured in numerous auctions since 1988, and reportedly was the highest priced photographic lot at one moment in history.

This is a unique opportunity to obtain the last copy available of the last printed edition of this work. This copy is the artist's proof, and the last from the final series printed in 1994. According to the artist, the negative of this image is no longer in existence.
